Subir Ghosh

SUBIR GHOSH is a Bengaluru-based independent journalist-writer-researcher who writes about environment, corruption, crony capitalism, conflict, wildlife, and cinema. He is the author of one book, and has co-authored three with others. In mainstream media, he has worked the Press Trust of India (PTI), the Telegraph, and the Daily News and Analysis (DNA). He has handled communications and publications for the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), the Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI). and SPG Publications. Over the years, he has been a columnist for a host of publications, including First Post, Kindle, Asian Correspondent, The Asian, Yuva and the Imphal Free Press, among others. He writes, edits, reports and designs. He is also a professionally trained and qualified photographer.

Richa Bansal

RICHA BANSAL has more than 30 years of media industry experience, of which the last 20 years have been with leading fashion magazines in both B2B and B2C domains. Her most recent position was at the helm of editoral affairs at Fibre2Fashion, one of India’s leading B2B media conglomerates, which has a prominent presence across magazines, events and websites. Richa has worked at the head of a slew of premium B2B magazines, including Images Business of Fashion, Shoes & Accessories India and the iconic Sportswear International, of which she was the Launch Editor. This was preceded by prolific work with newspapers, wire services and news portals, including Indiatimes.com, India Abroad News Service (IANS), Press Trust of India (PTI) and the Sentinel.

Pallavi Krishnappa

PALLAVI KRISHNAPPA is a Research Associate with Inscriptions Publishing. She completed her undergraduate in political science (Hons) from the University of Delhi and holds a Masters degree in social work with a specialisation in community organisation and development practice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. She has also previously interned with the independent media house The Wire in Delhi, the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) and, the water rights based campaign Pani Haq Samiti in Mumbai. Her area of interest resides in the intersections between gender, technology and culture. She currently resides in Bengaluru, India.

Tatsita Mishra

TATSITA MISHRA is currently pursuing her Masters in public policy and governance from Azim Premji University. Tatsita graduated from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru in 2018 where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies, English literature and psychology. Her areas of interest involve research, content development, film studies, film editing, politics and culture. Skill-sets include generating and proofreading content, qualitative research and research design, textual analysis (both media and academic texts), writing academic papers, film editing on Final-Cut Pro.

Chahat Rana

CHAHAT RANA holds a degree in English and journalism from Ashoka University, where she was named Best Student in Media Studies. She also pursued an advanced research diploma in English as part of which she completed a thesis in Dalit literature. She has published articles on news platforms such as the Indian Express, The Print and The Citizen. Her research and reportage interests vary from politics and policy to analyses of popular culture. She is currently working as a research assistant for Subir Ghosh and aspires to be a long-form journalist.

Sekulu Nyekha

SEKULU NYEKHA has been active in digital activism through digital art. A student of visual communication & performing arts with psychology, she is passionate about using behavioral and cognitive knowledge to create media spaces which are positive and rewarding. She is a young advocate of sexual and reproductive health rights, and is currently involved in youth advocacy, mental health and marginalisation issues. She was also featured as a global youth advocate of reproductive health rights by UN Foundation’s Universal Access Project.
